Telecom & Network Infrastructure

Since our founding in 1989, Shinko MMD has handled a wide range of construction projects supporting the telecom infrastructure of businesses. We take on projects of every scale and type — from small jobs like office LAN builds and Wi-Fi setup, to large-scale network facility construction in data centers and server rooms.

Beyond network construction, we’re a one-stop resource for anything related to your office’s telecom environment: business phone and PBX installation, cabling work for office relocations, and installation of CCTV and access control systems. Our specialist technicians handle everything in-house, from site survey, design, and construction through testing, activation, and after-sales support.

Fair, Transparent Pricing

In typical telecom construction projects, orders often pass from prime contractor to subcontractor to sub-subcontractor, with a margin added at each stage — which tends to drive up the final cost.

At Shinko MMD, we work directly with our clients. Our own full-time technicians handle everything from site survey and design to construction and after-sales support. Because we rarely outsource or subcontract (aside from select partnerships), we eliminate unnecessary intermediary margins and offer fair, transparent pricing.

Of course, our goal isn’t simply to be cheap. We provide clear quotes covering the scope of work, materials, and process, and carry out construction with an eye toward the future — achieving both quality and fair pricing.

Partnership and technical support

Partnership & Technical Support

Beyond taking on full end-to-end projects as prime contractor, Shinko MMD is also flexible about providing individual, spot support.

Whether it’s construction work based on drawings and specifications you provide, joining the support team of another contractor or prime contractor, or on-site technical support and inspections — we support what’s needed, when it’s needed.

This also includes surrounding work such as partial surveys of existing facilities, planning for equipment upgrades, preparing drawings and records, verification by licensed engineers, and simple operational walkthroughs for your staff. We prioritize reliability and safety, tailored to the situation and priorities of each site. Please contact us for details.

Our Process

STEP 1

Inquiry & Site Survey

Reach out by phone or through our contact form and tell us what you need. A technician will visit your site as needed to carefully review the existing wiring and available space, gathering the information needed to propose the best plan.

STEP 2

Quote & Construction Plan

Based on the site survey, we provide a quote and construction plan detailing the scope of work, materials, and process. We can also propose multiple plans to fit your budget and preferences. We proceed to construction once you’re satisfied with the details.

STEP 3

Scheduling

We coordinate the construction schedule around your operations and preferences to minimize disruption to your business. We also accommodate weekend and overnight work, so your operations can continue uninterrupted.

STEP 4

Construction & Testing

Our own full-time technicians carry out the work carefully according to the design. After construction, we run connectivity and functional tests, and report back to you once safety and quality have been confirmed.

STEP 5

Handover & After-Sales Support

After construction is complete, we walk you through the work and hand over the finished system. If any issues come up afterward, we’re always available. We maintain an after-sales support structure so you can keep using your systems with confidence for years to come.

We Also Handle Small Additions and Cable Cleanup

Cables in a tangled, disorganized state

Cables neatly organized in a rack

AFTER|Neatly organized in the rack

“Is this too small a job to bother asking about?” — we’ve heard this hesitation from many clients over the years. At Shinko MMD, we take on requests of every size, from data centers and full office buildings down to cleaning up the cabling in a single server rack or reviewing existing equipment — with the same care we bring to our largest projects.

Cables that have become tangled over years of operation aren’t just an eyesore — they can cause communication failures and operator errors, and they significantly slow down future additions or replacements. By checking each cable individually and re-running, labeling, and re-routing them as needed, we improve not only the appearance but also the ease of daily inspection and your capacity for future expansion.

“I just want one rack tidied up,” “I want to remove cables that aren’t in use anymore,” “While we’re adding equipment, let’s review the cabling too” — requests like these are always welcome. Regardless of scale, please feel free to reach out.
